Using Core Practice Media Bridge

Purpose

To capture images directly from VistaScan, Intraoral Camera, or Sidexis OPG/CBCT into Core Practice without manually entering patient information.

This process ensures that patient details are automatically passed from Core Practice to the imaging software, eliminating the need to manually type patient information.

Prerequisites

• You must be logged in to the OPG/Steri assigned Core Practice account, Use Dentist account in Surgery room

• Core Practice Media Bridge must be installed on the PC

Step-by-Step Instructions

Log in to Core Practice

• Open Core Practice.

• Log in using the OPG/Steri assigned Core Practice account in OPG room or Steri and Dentist account in Surgery Rooms (ensure this account has Media Bridge access).

Check if Core Practice Media Bridge is Running

• Look at the system tray (bottom-right corner) of the screen.

• Confirm the Media Bridge icon is visible and running.

• If not running, open Core Practice Media Bridge from the desktop.

Open the Patient Profile

• In Core Practice, search and open the patient profile.

• Go to the Media section/tab.

• Click the Media Bridge icon in the bottom-right system tray.

• Confirm the Media Bridge name/connection matches the correct clinic or setup.

Select Imaging Software

Once Media Bridge is available, choose the imaging source:

• VistaScan
• SIDEXIS
• CS1500
• CS8100
• CS8200
